Managed Optimization
Automation and AI workflows degrade over time without active maintenance. Managed Optimization keeps your live workflows performing, catches exceptions before they become problems, and continuously improves what was built.
What it covers
Managed Optimization is a monthly retainer engagement for organizations that have live workflows built by Norsewave and want ongoing operational oversight. It is not a generic support contract — it is active management of specific workflows with defined SLAs.
Every retainer client has a named Norsewave contact, a monthly review cadence, and a quarterly improvement planning session. Nothing is anonymous or ticket-queue managed.
What's included monthly
- ✓Workflow performance monitoring and drift detection
- ✓Exception queue review and triage
- ✓Minor tuning and configuration adjustments
- ✓Monthly status report with metrics
- ✓Incident response for workflow failures
- ✓Vendor and platform update impact assessment
- ✓Named Norsewave contact for operational questions
Quarterly improvement planning
Performance review
We review the last quarter's workflow performance data, exception rates, and any near-misses. Every metric is tied to an operational outcome, not a system stat.
Improvement roadmap
Based on performance data and operational changes, we produce a prioritized improvement list for the next quarter. You approve what gets worked on.
Scope and budget alignment
Improvement work is scoped and priced separately from the retainer. You always know what improvement work costs before it begins.
Pricing
Retainer pricing is set based on the number of active workflows under management, their complexity, and the agreed review cadence. All retainers are month-to-month after an initial 90-day commitment.
Required before we start
Managed Optimization is only available to clients who have a working baseline. We do not take on optimization retainers for workflows we haven't built or fully reviewed. This ensures we can actually deliver the service we're committing to.
- →Workflow must be in active production use
- →Norsewave must have full documentation and access to the workflow
- →Client must have a named operational owner for the workflow
- →Baseline metrics must be established before retainer begins
